Ford Motor Company
Ford Motor Company is a American multinational automaker founded on July 1, 1903. The company has been a component of the Dow Jones Industrial Average since May 6, 1896. Ford currently employs about 201,000 people and sells nearly 2.5 million vehicles per year worldwide.
The company was founded by Henry Ford and began producing automobiles in 1903. Ford became one of the world’s leading automakers and established factories in six American states: Detroit, Dearborn, Lincoln, Oak Park, Piquette, and Highland Park. In 1927, he introduced the Model A, which became the best-selling automobile in history with over 8 million units sold. In 1952 Ford introduced the first low-priced car with interchangeable parts called the Falcon. The company also developed several innovations that are still used today such as dual front wheel drive and independent suspension.

Michelin
The Michelin company was founded in 1871 by two brothers, Charles and Edouard Michelin. The brothers had a tire-manufacturing business, but they wanted to enter the sports car business. They started to produce racing car tires in 1899.
In 1905, the Michelin brothers invented air pressure gauges and began producing them for racing cars. In 1919, they produced their first motorcycle tire.
In 1928, the Michelin brothers created their own factory in Clermont-Ferrand, France. The factory became known as “the birthplace of the radial tire.”
The company made airplane tires during World War II. After the war, it began to make automobile tires again. The company also began producing bicycle tires in 1956.
Michelin is now one of the world’s leading companies in the production of tires and tubes for automobiles, motorcycles, bicycles, trucks, buses, and agricultural equipment.
Renault
Renault is a French car manufacturer founded in 1899 by J.D. Renault and Pierre Renault. The company became a subsidiary of the Renault-Nissan concern in 1999. In 2018, Renault sold more than 10 million cars worldwide .
Renault was one of the earliest automobile companies to manufacture tractors, beginning production in 1928 with the SCR250. Tractors would become an important part of the company’s product line, and by 1985, they were the second-largest producer in Europe after Volkswagen AG. In 1998, Renault purchased Nissan’s share in the company, giving it full control over all aspects of automotive manufacturing.
In 2014, Fiat Chrysler Automobiles (FCA) announced its intention to purchase both Renault and Nissan from Nissan CEO Carlos Ghosn for $10 billion. The deal was completed on April 1, 2015.
